Posting Video Clips
Couple of questions about posting video clips.
What is the preferred file format and what is the maximum file size?

I just got some new video cards that do nvidia Shadow play. The files are large (10 minutes = 1.5GB medium grade) and are H264. I can clip and transcode them (Nero Recode), but even an 11 second clip in AVI format wouldn't upload (25MB).

RE: Posting Video Clips
Upload them to a file sharing site such as mediafire and post links, or you could upload them to youtube and make them hidden and post links. The easiest way for us is for demo recordings, there are plenty of places around the forums concerning on how to do demo recording. If you're on a mac, well.....I can't help there

Bob, look up freemake.com and download the Freemake Video Converter. It's free and converts videos to AVI, MP4, WMV, MPEG, MKV, FLV, and more.

RE: Posting Video Clips
make it into a gif! lol jk

no but really, post it as the demo file if you can. and if you have to seperate the clip from the long demo, record it with a program (I use bandicam) and then put it in a format for youtube and upload it on there

RE: Posting Video Clips
If you don't use the built in record feature in COD4 to make a demo, you could use xfire to make videos. That's what I use. I convert them from mp4 to avi and post them. You can use freemake video converter as others have mentioned to change the file type.
