Rainbow Your Computer Rating?
Post your computers rating here!

Go into

Control Panel > System & Security > Review Your Computers Status > View Performance Information |

Mine is pretty low because I only have 2GB of DDR3 RAM and my HDD bottlenecks the shit out of my PC

re-ran it then

Hard drive is low because I only have one and it's just a plain 7200RPM drive. Other than that I don't think this is bad considering how old most of the stuff in my computer is. I still have DDR2 and my old Intel Q6600 is running at 3GHz cause I leave it on 24/7.

im kinda sad my hdd is only a 5.9 considering its a 10k rpm sata 6g drive :|
and you'd think 16gb of ram @ ddr3 1600 would be maxed, along w/ a hex core at 3.97 ghz...fail windows fail

RE: Your Computer Rating?
Well, not that Windows Ratings matter, but here we go!

INTEL + nVIDIA > AMD + ATI

930 i7 NOT overclocked
12GB Dominators 1600 DDR3 NOT overclocked
GTX480 NOT overlocked
80GB Intel SSD

Maybe overlocking killed your components, Dom Big Grin

It won't be fair for me to post mine. I have vista so 5.9 is the highest it goes to. Hell if you want a true comparison post 3d mark scores. Just saying..... But I don't care about benchies.

RE: Your Computer Rating?
well shit, since we're on the topic of computers, i figure i'll ask.

this panda has a wolfdale intel core 2 duo E8500 3.16GHz dual core running at 4.00 GHz
im not too sure what the highest temp its reached is, but i do recall that it was in the happy range and im not melting my poor hardware.
is it worth pushing this little monster to 4.20 GHz, or should i keep it at 4?

RE: Your Computer Rating?
Well honestly i would say keep it at 4.0 the extra .2 IMO didn't justify the possibility of fring your chip with good clocking 775's getting to be rare now. If it's happy at 4.0 keep it there
